Official islands to visit
Your own town stays yours. Everything shared happens on a Cloud Island, which is a separate map on the server rather than a copy of your save, so nothing a visitor does can undo the work at home.
A Cloud Island is one large map held on the server, stocked with every material, that you can share by code or open to friends. There are 8 official codes to visit, and it is the main way Pokopia is played with other people.
Codes and how it worksPalette Town is the ground you stand on when you build with somebody else. No area objective, no assignment, just open space, which is why it is the map co-op uses.
See the areaTrading moves things between players and runs separately from the shared building. Useful for anything one player has and another cannot reach yet.
Trading guideDistributions and timed events arrive over the internet, which is also how the event Pokémon reach your game.
Internet eventsNot every island is open to editing. Some are published read-only so people can walk through and look at what was built. Exploring one of those needs the Mysterious Goggles, bought from the shop, which put you on the island as a visitor who cannot alter anything and does not interact with anyone else there.
